My name is Lois Vassilion and I moved to this impoverished area of SE Ga. 15 years ago. My main profession is a Critical Care Nurse. When my husband and I got here, we discovered there were no animal services in the county and abandoned pets everywhere. We started BARC at that time to provide health services to these pets and a home.

Meet LILY

BARC welcomes Lily to rescue! This little Boston Terrier / Terrier mix was abandoned with another pet which we could not get. This little girl is about 4 to 5 months old and is only ten pounds so she will be a small dog. She is adorable too. Like most terriers, she thinks she is as big as it gets and loves playing and teasing the larger pets. She has cats in her foster home and does fine. She is trained to use a piddle pad. She is up to date in vaccines, spayed and microchipped . You can apply to adopt Lily online at brantleyanimalrescuecoalition.com.

Adoption Process
The person must fill out an online application and be approved. They sign a contract and are given a copy of the health record. Our adoption fees range from $100-$350 depending on the adoptability of the pet.
