My name is Lois Vassilion and I moved to this impoverished area of SE Ga. 15 years ago. My main profession is a Critical Care Nurse. When my husband and I got here, we discovered there were no animal services in the county and abandoned pets everywhere. We started BARC at that time to provide health services to these pets and a home.

BARC welcomes LAUREN to rescue! This angel came from an Oops litter. Mimi’s a Border Collie / Aussie mix and dad is reported to be a German Shepherd. This sweetie is low key and smart. Adoption Process
The person must fill out an online application and be approved. They sign a contract and are given a copy of the health record. Our adoption fees range from $100-$350 depending on the adoptability of the pet.
