My name is Lois Vassilion and I moved to this impoverished area of SE Ga. 15 years ago. My main profession is a Critical Care Nurse. When my husband and I got here, we discovered there were no animal services in the county and abandoned pets everywhere. We started BARC at that time to provide health services to these pets and a home.

Meet Smore

BARC Welcomes S’more to rescue. This little Beagle/dachshund mix was born the end of March. His mom was injured when he was 3 weeks old and died. Rescue took the pups in to make sure they got the care they required. These little pups are quite animated and playful. They will probably not get more than 25-30 pounds and be delightful companions. They are up to date on vaccines, microchipped and rescue pays for spay / neuter when they are old enough. You can apply for S’more online at brantleyanimalrescuecoalition.com .

Adoption Process
The person must fill out an online application and be approved. They sign a contract and are given a copy of the health record. Our adoption fees range from $100-$350 depending on the adoptability of the pet.
