My name is Lois Vassilion and I moved to this impoverished area of SE Ga. 15 years ago. My main profession is a Critical Care Nurse. When my husband and I got here, we discovered there were no animal services in the county and abandoned pets everywhere. We started BARC at that time to provide health services to these pets and a home.

Bridgette was abandoned at the river and taken in by a good Sam . Thanks to a foster volunteer, we were able to give her hope of finding a permanent home. Bridgette is a gorgeous fawn blue Staffordshire. She is laid back , affectionate and bonds to her person fast. She will be completely vetted, microchipped and spayed. Adoption Process
The person must fill out an online application and be approved. They sign a contract and are given a copy of the health record. Our adoption fees range from $100-$350 depending on the adoptability of the pet.
