Meet Lena - A Sweet Senior

Meet Lena – A Loyal Senior Girl in Urgent Need of a Home Are you looking for an easygoing, loyal companion who will stay by your side all day long but still as energy to play fetch? Meet Lena, a sweet, gentle senior pup who’s great on the leash, loves car rides, and is always ready for a Netflix marathon on the couch. She’s never met a stranger — Lena adores people and soaks up attention, but she also knows how to settle and relax. She's highly intelligent, food motivated, and still eager to learn! Lena recently lost her beloved owner and now urgently needs a foster or forever home. She’s healthy, fully vetted, and has so much love left to give. No experience living with other dogs Might be fine with cats Perfect for someone who loves the calm presence of a senior dog Let’s give this amazing girl the second chance she deserves. ❤️ Text 404-520-1060 if you can help or want to learn more. Email (Preferred): [email protected] Website: www.awhar.org We love the older ones — and you will too.

Adoption Process
First there is an application, then the meeting, then the animal is brought to its potential new home, then there is a foster/trial period, after a month or so we make the final adoption. Fees may vary, but the standard is $275 for dogs and the standard is $125 for cats. All animals are fully vetted and up to date on shots at adoption. If at anytime and for any reason, the animal is not working in the new household, we will take them back.
