Meet Jillian
A SWEET & FUN LOVEBUG: Approx. 1 year old / Approx. 19 lbs. Hi there, I’m Jillian! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I’m thrilled to be with them! As much as I love it here, I’m really looking forward to finding a great family and being in a loving furever home very soon! Perhaps with you? • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m described as a super sweet, playful, friendly and cuddly girl! When it was my turn for a photo shoot, the photographer reported that I was a ‘love bug!’ I like that and I sure enjoy being with all the nice volunteers! They also report that I have a nice calm side, too. / Energy level: 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’ command. I look forward to learning a lot more! The leash is new to me and I’m afraid to walk near traffic, so I hope my new home will have a nice quiet area we can walk in. / I’m doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts. / I’m having accidents on the shelter schedule, so know that I’ll need you to finish potty training me, so keep me on a good schedule with rewards and praise! • LIKES/DISLIKES: Since I’m afraid of traffic areas, I’d love a fenced yard to play in with my people! I like toys, being with people, and playing with balls – they are my favorite, and I’ve heard the volunteers say that I’m so cute when I play with them! I’m sure we’ll discover lots of other things we will enjoy doing together! / Other than being afraid of cars/traffic when walking, I can’t think of any dislikes but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I’m a great dog looking for a great furever family! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.
