Meet Chandler
A FUN & FRIENDLY GUY: Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 22 lbs. Hi, my name is Chandler! Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I just knew it was my lucky day when I arrived at their shelter and got to experience all the love from the volunteers. It’s now time for me to find a new family of my own to love and be loved by. So exciting! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: The volunteers report that I have the reputation of being a ‘sweet and gentle boy’ with a ‘cute personality’ and I love that description. I was a good boy for my photo shoot and charmed the photographer with my handsome self being fun and friendly while posing for my pictures! My training sessions are great, too, and my trainer says I am ‘silly and adorable’. I’m playful and affectionate – ready to bring joy to my new family! / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I am learning lots of great commands with my trainer. I’ve already mastered the ‘sit’, ‘stay’ and ‘come’ commands and I look forward to learning even more. Check back soon to see my progress. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I’m getting the hang of my potty habits, as I've had very few accidents on the shelter schedule. Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, and I think I’ll do well. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love to spend time with people – playing and collecting snuggles. My gentle nature makes me a great companion, and I am ready for all the love that comes my way. I’m sure we will find all sorts of things we like doing together. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I am looking for a loving home where I will be a cherished family member! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
