Meet ROCKET
Meet Rocket Are you looking for an agility dog, lake dog, running partner, hiking pal, fetching champ, kid-loving dog, and snuggle buddy all wrapped into one? Well look no further than our boy Rocket! This guy is happy, cuddly, and smart and athletic! He's had some training and he would love to continue with his very own family, he soaks it up like a sponge! He really wants to please his people, and he loves to have a "job" to do. Rocket is not cat/small animal friendly, and with other dogs he can go either way. He has lived with several in a foster home and really enjoyed playing with them, but he needed time and several slow introductions to get there. When it comes to people, he LOVES everyone!! He may be a bit too energetic for very young kids (though he loves to smother them with kisses!). The dream home for this sweet boy would be an active family, whether one person or lots (kids 10+ is best), a fenced yard for exercise, and either no other pets or a playful doggy friend with owners willing to work on the intros. If you'd like to meet Rocket, please apply here and we'll be in touch! https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/GARP/Dog
Adoption Process
First there is an application, then the meeting, then the animal is brought to its potential new home, then there is a foster/trial period, after a month or so we make the final adoption. Fees may vary, but the standard is $275 for dogs and the standard is $125 for cats. All animals are fully vetted and up to date on shots at adoption. If at anytime and for any reason, the animal is not working in the new household, we will take them back.
