Meet Bodhi
A FUN & CUDDLY FRIEND: Approx. 7 years old / Approx. 21 lbs. Hi, my name is Bodhi! Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I am so grateful they came for me and are helping me find my new family. I’m heartworm positive, but Mostly Mutts is going to get me treated for that and I hope I’m with my new family before my treatment starts. I’m ready to meet them now! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts, and though I wasn’t quite ready to play with them, I also didn’t show any aggression, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a friendly and cuddly guy who has charmed the volunteers with my expressive eyes and affectionate nature – they just love me! I was sweet and calm for my shelter bath and seemed to take it all in while being deep in thought – lol. I’m playful and loving, ready to bring lots of love to my new family. / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come’, ‘leave it’ and ‘drop it’ commands! I also use proper door etiquette and accept friendly strangers without jumping, so I’m doing great with my training! I’m sure you can teach me even more! / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty habits have been good on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I enjoy spending time with the volunteers, and I always look forward to our walks. I absolutely love cuddles when it is snuggle time, and I equally love toys when it is time to play. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. Unfortunately, my previous owner did not keep me on a heartworm preventative, and I've tested heartworm positive. Mostly Mutts is covering the cost of my treatment with their vet, which will be mid to late May, so local adoption only, please. I am looking for a loving home with a great furever family! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.
Thank you for your patience and support!
