Meet Matilda
A SWEET & LOVING FRIEND: Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 36 lbs. Hi there, I’m Matilda! I’m a wonderful girl who somehow ended up at animal control. Thankfully, Mostly Mutts was able to rescue me and I’m over the moon happy about that! I’ve been having a great time with all the volunteers at the shelter, and they just told me that it’s time for me to find a new family – so exciting! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: The shelter volunteers describe me as very sweet and just an overall wonderful girl and I’ve heard them say that they just love me, too! I’m a loving companion looking forward to having a wonderful life with my family! I did well for my bath and nail trim, and I just looked up at my bather with the sweetest trusting expression. / Energy level: 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I know the ‘sit’ command and I’m sure you can teach me a lot more. / My crate manners have been good at Mostly Mutts. / I’m doing well with my potty manners on the shelter schedule. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love belly rubs, playing with stuffed toys, giving kisses, getting some good stretches in and being loved on. Sitting on the bench in front of the Mostly Mutts shelter is an awesome place to just hang out and lean into the nice volunteers as we watch all that’s going on around us. / I can’t think of any dislikes, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I’m a great dog looking for a great family to love and be loved by. My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.
Thank you for your patience and support!
