Meet Sammi
A FUN-LOVING PUPPY: Approx. 6 – 7 months old / Approx. 20 lbs. & growing Hi, my name is Sammi! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I’m very happy about that! I’m getting lots of great care here, and I sure can’t wait to meet my new family. Looking for some great puppy love? Look no further than ME! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met some other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a dog that would enjoy a puppy friend, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a friendly, young girl who has lots of typical puppy energy. I’m a people dog, and the volunteers say that I will be fun to train with my great personality. Playful and loving, I’ll be a great family member for a lucky family! / My energy level is 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I’m learning lots of great commands with my trainer. I’ve mastered the ‘sit’, ‘down’, and ‘come’ commands already and I look forward to learning lots more. I’m working on my leash manners now since I’m new to the leash and can sometimes be a bit of a tripping hazard – but I’m learning. I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog - so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / My crate manners have been pretty good at the shelter, though I don’t always want to go back in after spending time with the volunteers. When that happens, they toss a few pieces of my kibble into it, and I go right in - lol. / I've been having some accidents on the shelter schedule, so please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love to be with people, and I LOVE to use that energetic puppy enthusiasm when I play. When it is snuggle time, I love to settle in and collect all the cuddles. I’m sure we’ll discover lots more things that we will love doing together as I grow up. / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on my immunizations, micro-chipped and spayed. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.
