Meet Ralph

A HAPPY & WONDERFUL FELLOW:  Approx. 7 years old / Approx. 24 lbs. Hello there, I’m Ralph!  Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I have been soaking up all the love from the great volunteers ever since.  I am heartworm positive, but Mostly Mutts is making sure I get treatment for that soon.  I now hear it’s time for me to find my new family, and that makes me SUPER happy.  Are you looking for a great fur friend?  Come meet me! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a very sweet, calm and friendly guy with just a little bit of timidness initially, but there is no hiding my true loving nature which I reveal pretty quickly.  I have a very happy demeanor and gave lots of tail wags to and from my shelter bath – where I was super calm – loving the attention.  Playful and affection, I am ready to bring lots of love and good times to my new family! / My energy level is 3-5. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I know the ‘sit’ command, and I bet you can teach me even more. I love treats, so that should make our training sessions fun and yummy! / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I’ve had only a couple of accidents on the shelter schedule, so I think I’ll do well in my new home on a good schedule, too.  • LIKES/DISLIKES:  When the volunteers come to spend time with me, I am a tail-waggin’ happy guy.  I enjoy my walks with them, though I am still learning my leash manners and will sometimes zig-zag around their feet, so be careful.  When it is time to just hang out together, I LOVE those great cuddles and belly rubs.  Got toys?  Good, because I always enjoy a good play session. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.  Unfortunately, my previous owner did not keep me on a heartworm preventative, and I've tested heartworm positive.  Mostly Mutts is covering the cost of my treatment with their vet in mid to late June, so local adoptions only.  I sure hope to be with my new family before treatment starts. I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future. I am looking for a loving home with a loving family for life!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following: Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care. We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot. The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org. Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family! Adoption Info: Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only. Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
