A REAL SWEETHEART:  Approx. 10 years old / Approx. 28 lbs. Hi, my name’s Moxie!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I sure am happy to be part of the Mostly Mutts family now.  I have snuck into the hearts of the volunteers who come to care for me, and … YOU’RE NEXT!  I’m ready to join my furever family, so plan to come meet me soon! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I recently met dogs at Mostly Mutts, and I was friendly with them. If you have a nice doggie at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals.  / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I have earned quite the reputation as a shelter favorite – gathering such descriptions as a ‘doll baby’, ‘sweet angel’ and ‘sweet soul’.  I’m very much a people dog and am very social and lovable.  I am as affectionate and smart as I am sweet, and I have a happy, playful nature you are sure to love.  I don’t hesitate to give grunts and snorts of appreciation for all the love that comes my way. / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I know several commands including ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come’ and ‘leave it’.  I’ve also shown how trainable I am with my door etiquette, nice greeting of strangers and good leash manners.  Learning some great doggie commands should be a breeze for me. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty habits are pretty good with only a few accidents on the shelter schedule.  Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can fully master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I absolutely love getting and receiving affection from people.  I was so calm and relaxed for my shelter bath, as I loved the petting that goes along with a dog spa event.  One of my favorite pastimes is to sit next to you and have my neck rubbed.  Toys are fun, too, and I love it when the volunteers break them out for a great play session. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. Since I’m a Bulldog mix, I naturally have skin folds that need to be kept clean and dry each day. I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future. I am looking for a loving home with a wonderful furever family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following: Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care. We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot. The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org. Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family! Adoption Info: Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only. Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email. Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family. Our Adoption process is very thorough...MM prides itself in making every effort to place each animal in the right home. Dogs: Our adoption fee is $299. Each dog that Mostly Mutts adopts out to a Furever home has the following basic vetting as well as an engraved name tag, Martingale collar and leash: Spay or Neuter Surgery Vaccinations up to date according to age (Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordatella) De-Worming Microchip Heartworm Testing (1 yr & older) we pay for treatment for any HW+ animal after adoption at our own vet Cats: Our adoption fee is $175 for cats. Each cat that Mostly Mutts adopts out to a Furever home has the following basic vetting as well as an engraved name tag: Spay or Neuter Surgery Vaccinations up to date according to age (Rabies, FVRCP) De-Worming Combo-Tested (FeLV/FIV) Please visit our website, www.mostlymutts.org for additional information about adopting a new best friend!
