Meet Lily
I’m Lily, a sweet 12-year-old wire-haired dachshund with a beautiful brindle-dapple coat and a heart full of love to share. A Little About Me I might be a senior gal, but don’t let my age fool you—I’ve still got a spring in my step and a love for life! Walks are one of my favorite things. I’m great on a leash and enjoy exploring the world at my own pace. Car rides? Yes, please! There’s nothing like feeling the breeze as we head off on an adventure together. When it’s time to relax, I’m happiest curled up in my cozy dog bed. I’m house-trained, easygoing, and great with other dogs, cats, and older children. I’ve got a gentle soul and a big heart that’s ready to bond with my forever family. A Work in Progress I recently joined my foster family and am still getting the care I need to feel my very best. I haven’t seen a vet in a while, so I’ve got some catching up to do. My teeth need attention, I have a little growth on my head, but my foster family is making sure I’m getting all the love and care I need. Despite everything, I’m a trooper. My tail wags, my spirit shines, and I’m ready to face each day with a lot of spunk! My Ideal Home I’m looking for a family who will shower me with the love and care I deserve. Someone who will take me on leisurely walks, enjoy car rides with me, and give me a warm bed to sleep in at night. If you’re ready to open your heart to a sweet, resilient senior girl like me, I promise to fill your days with love, companionship, and a little bit of dachshund charm. Keep an eye on me—I’ll be ready for adoption once I’ve had my vet care and a chance to get back to feeling my very best! Love, Lily 4o
