✨ Meet Zira — the Girl With the Satellite Dish Ears ✨   Need someone who really listens? Zira is ALL ears — literally and figuratively. This 11-month-old, 65-lb German Shepherd/Doberman/Terrier mix is as stunning on the outside as she is sweet on the inside. Zira is available through our REHOME FOR LIFE program where we help dogs be safely rehomed. Her adoption fee is $100.   ✅ Spayed ✅ Up to date on vaccines & heartworm/flea prevention ✅ Potty trained & crate trained ✅ Leash trained (short & long leads) ✅ Knows her commands   Zira is the full package: intelligent, loyal, playful, and affectionate. One moment she’s using those extraordinary ears to keep watch over her people, the next she’s zooming through the yard chasing dragonflies, and before long she’s curled up as a velcro couch potato.   Her start in life wasn’t easy — removed from an abusive environment as a puppy, she’s had to learn trust and confidence step by step. Because of that, Zira does best with slow introductions. She may bark at first when meeting new people, but with patience and treats she warms up and shows her sweet, affectionate side. Once she decides you’re her person, you’ll have a loyal companion for life.   The right fit for Zira: A single owner, couple, or family (older kids or adult homes may be best) Dog-friendly households — she currently lives happily with two dogs but could also thrive as your one-and-only A fenced yard or safe space to run would be a dream come true Most importantly, adopters who are patient, consistent, and excited to help her continue building confidence in new or uncertain situations   Zira is a one-of-a-kind girl with resilience, brains, and heart.
