Meet Humvee

ADOPTION PENDINGHumvee is tiny and super cute --  a playful puppy with other dogs and very affectionate with people! He came to us from a couple who had adopted him from a breeder, but now about 6 months later they find that their work schedule requires them to leave him alone and crated too long. Their landlord said he had to go. It is true that Humvee has perfected the most pitiful, loud howls when crated! Helping him to feel less anxious in a crate and also comfortable being left alone is a work in progress. He is young and there is certainly hope that that can be accomplished, but he will need a patient family who can continue to do this gradually and systematically. In the meantime anyone who adopts this treasure of a beagle will be blessed beyond measure by his happy and loving personality. Humvee is scheduled to be neutered on Friday 4/26 and then will be ready for sleepover.
