Meet Rueben

Dog alert: Reuben is looking for a new human!   Reuben is a Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix with the body of a pocket-sized lion and the energy of a toddler who just drank espresso. He’s a male (un-neutered, so you know… full of opinions), our rescue will provide his neuter at one of our preferred vet clinics     Reuben is still a puppy, which means he’s got that perfect combo of adorable and chaotic. He’s super sweet, very snuggly, and might just follow you into the bathroom if you let him—he’s a little needy but in an endearing “I love you too much to leave you alone for 30 seconds” kind of way.   He’s crate trained (quiet as a mouse once he’s in there), loves his KONGs like they’re made of gold, and has the zoomies approximately 14 times a day. He does bark when you come home, but it’s just his way of saying “OMG YOU’RE BACK, I THOUGHT YOU DIED.”   No biting, no medical issues, and no formal training, but he’s got a good heart and the attention span of… wait, what were we talking about?   He’s been on a gourmet diet of ground turkey, veggies, rice, and some Hill’s Science Diet, so yes—he eats better than I do. Ruben hasn’t been  around kids, but honestly we think he’d do great. He’s playful, affectionate, and too small to knock anyone over (unless you’re wearing flip-flops and he’s doing laps).   Reuben needs a forever home with someone who can give him love, boundaries, and a whole lot of chew toys.
