We are tackling the problem one animal at a time. Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue is a St. Augustine, Florida-based 501(c)(3) supporting adoption, spay and neuter, and responsible care of animals. Along with education, outreach, and adoption and fostering programs, Ayla’s Acres also maintains a 45-acre sanctuary where “unadoptable” animals may live out their lives with peace, love, and dignity.

Sweetie / DOB est May 2021, 70 pounds / Pit bull, Rottweiler MixSweetie truly lives up to her name.  She is so full of love and affectioin.  Warms the hearts of all the people she meets with her big smile and wagging tail.  She loves to swim, play fetch, cuddle, and car rides.  She is great with all humans; however, she needs to be the only pet.  Sweetie has been through training and is very well behaved.  She is looking for a foster as well as her forever home with a fenced yard.  She is a big girl approximately 70 pounds..  If you're interested in meeting this pup, please fill out an adoption application at aylasacres.org.There is an adoption fee and a home visit is required.

Adoption Process
1. Adoption application - requesting background as pet parent, 3 non-family member references and vet reference. 2. If app is approved - Phone interview to understand what type of pet the applicant is looking for. 3. Meet and greet - We facilitate a meet at the applicant's home. 4. If meet goes well - The applicant signs and Adoption Agreement.
