My foster mom calls me Obi Wan from Star Wars because the force is strong in me.  I've been on quite the adventure, let me tell you. I was swept away by a flood waters, but I wasn't scared. I'm a superhero, you see. I swam and swam, using my canine superpowers to stay afloat. I found a safe spot and waited, trusting that help would come. And it did! Now, I'm here, ready for my next adventure. I'm curious, cuddly, and a bit goofy. I'm an old soul, but don't let that fool you. I still have lots of love to give and adventures to live. So, why not join me on my next heroic journey? My foster mom has a lot to say about me too.  She wants you to know that “He's such a good dog and he's getting more playful which has taken a while to see. He doesn't stray far and he follows me around even when I'm in the bathroom. Only wants to be touching his person all the time! He's got so much love to give!” Oberon does have some vision issues. FOREVER FOSTER PROGRAM Canine Castaways believes that there is a home for every dog we rescue and we are willing to wait to find it.   However, every now and then certain dogs have ongoing medical expenses that make adoption more difficult.  These dogs have a very special place in our hearts and still deserve a chance at happiness.  We do not want the fear of vet bills to get in their way so we have established our "Forever Foster" program which pays for their ongoing medical care at our primary vet, Animal Ark of Arcadia.  Our "Forever Foster" dogs are looking for their "human heroes" who are not afraid to open their hearts to show them love.
