Hunter's Village Rescue

The mission and vision of Hunter's Village Rescue is to save dogs in need by placing them in loving forever homes. We are a foster home based nonprofit dog rescue located in the Hunter's Creek Community (SW Orlando), Florida. HVR has identified a need in our community to assist, rescue, provide medical care, shelter, safety and love for abandoned and unwanted animals. We aim to instill in our community an awareness of these animals and encourage people to value animals while treating them with respect and kindness. We provide screening of all adoption applicants and assure dogs are placed into loving and nurturing forever homes. HVR provides these needed services through donations from our community and fundraising events.

Meet Ambrose

At approximately 4-5 years old, weighing in at about 48 lbs, Ambrose still has the same eagerness for life as a puppy and it is absolutely adorable .  He adores every single person he meets and is always up for an adventure.  He absolutely lo ves other dogs and watching his playful bows and zoomies will bring anyone instant joy.  He does have big playful energy, therfore   dogs his size that can appreciate him will be best.  Ambrose is extremely eager to learn and is very food and affection motivated. His fosters are actively working with him on leash manners, place command and basic obedience.  While he has a bit to learn, it helps that he is so excited to please his humans.  He is potty trained and already has a few basic commands down pat!  Ambrose's fosters describe him as the best "lover boy" ever who absolutely loves his walks, any form of exercise, toy play time and getting any love he can from any human in sight.  This handsome boy will do best in a home with a fenced yard allowing for lots of zoomies and play time or with an active family that plans to exercise him daily and take him on adventures.  He will be an incredible family companion.  The adoption donation is $210 and includes neuter, microchip and age appropriate vaccines.  Please follow the link below to submit an application:   https://bit.ly/3GDeyyo
