Meet Starla

Shiba lovers, meet Starla! This 3-year-old, 21-pound beauty was recently surrendered due to her owner’s allergies and is now looking for her next adventure. True to her breed, Starla can be a bit aloof at first, but there’s a spark behind those eyes and a spunky spirit ready to shine in the right home. Starla appears healthy and active, but she does have a special dietary need due to a history of bladder stones. She’ll be completing her vetting soon. We’re still learning how she does with other dogs, but we do know she carries herself with that classic Shiba confidence. If you’re familiar with the independent charm of the breed and looking for a unique companion, please consider Starla.PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical care. Thank you for caring for the greater good. Adoption fee is $650 and you can adopt me at www.polkadogz.org.

Adoption Process
pre adoption application, home visit, contract, adoption fee. All current pets must be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and heartworm prevention
