Meet Ruby

Meet Ruby: Your Sweet, Shy Hound Mix Companion Ruby is a special 4-year-old hound mix weighing in at a gentle 40 pounds. Her journey brought her to The London Sanctuary as a pregnant stray from Baker County animal control, and now she’s ready to find her forever home. In her foster home, Ruby has shown herself to be super sweet, albeit a bit shy at first. However, she warms up quickly and thrives on being close to her humans. If she needs to go out, she'll let you know with a gentle whine. Ruby loves cozying up either at the foot of your bed or beside it on the floor, making her a great companion for bedtime snuggles. She's friendly with dogs and shows curiosity towards cats, though a cat-savvy environment would be best. Ruby is almost completely housebroken, with just one accident during her time in foster care. She’s also working on her leash manners and basic commands like sit and come. One unique thing about Ruby is her love for treats hidden in toys or around the house – it’s a fun game for her! She’s heartworm negative, up-to-date on all vaccines, microchipped, and already spayed. Her adoption fee is $250, and The London Sanctuary requires home visits to ensure she goes to the perfect forever home. If you’re looking for a loving, low-energy companion who adores being close to you and enjoys leisurely walks, Ruby might be the perfect match for you. Contact The London Sanctuary through [email protected] or find them on Facebook or Instagram for more information and to meet Ruby in person.
