We are tackling the problem one animal at a time. Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue is a St. Augustine, Florida-based 501(c)(3) supporting adoption, spay and neuter, and responsible care of animals. Along with education, outreach, and adoption and fostering programs, Ayla’s Acres also maintains a 45-acre sanctuary where “unadoptable” animals may live out their lives with peace, love, and dignity.

Donner is the perfect mix of chill and adventure! If you want to lounge on the couch and binge-watch your favorite shows, he’s right there with you. Ready for a run or walk on the beach? He’s all in! This big softie loves to match your energy and just wants to be by your side.His favorite pastime? Cuddling! Just say “come cuddle,” and he’ll army crawl his way straight into your heart. He gets along great with other dogs, snuggles with the resident cats, and, while a little shy with kids at first, he’s gentle and sweet. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who can keep up with whatever mood you’re in, Donner is your guy!

Adoption Process
1. Adoption application - requesting background as pet parent, 3 non-family member references and vet reference. 2. If app is approved - Phone interview to understand what type of pet the applicant is looking for. 3. Meet and greet - We facilitate a meet at the applicant's home. 4. If meet goes well - The applicant signs and Adoption Agreement.
