We are tackling the problem one animal at a time. Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue is a St. Augustine, Florida-based 501(c)(3) supporting adoption, spay and neuter, and responsible care of animals. Along with education, outreach, and adoption and fostering programs, Ayla’s Acres also maintains a 45-acre sanctuary where “unadoptable” animals may live out their lives with peace, love, and dignity.

Meet Nash

Nash is a 4 year old American fox hound/ golden retriever mix looking for a quiet, loving home. Nash is a sweet, goofy pup who loves to chase squirrels in the yard, go swimming in pools, and take nice long walks. He is crate trained and can be highly motivated by treats, he even knows a few tricks like shake, high five, and roll over. Nash loves to cuddle, but also very much enjoys his independence and alone time. He would be a great single pet in household where he can get all the kisses, snuggles and treats to himself.

Adoption Process
1. Adoption application - requesting background as pet parent, 3 non-family member references and vet reference. 2. If app is approved - Phone interview to understand what type of pet the applicant is looking for. 3. Meet and greet - We facilitate a meet at the applicant's home. 4. If meet goes well - The applicant signs and Adoption Agreement.
