Meet Caddie 1378

Caddie is a 12-year-old golden mix with a soft soul and a heart full of love to give. Weighing in at a petite 38 pounds, she's the perfect size for cozy companionship without taking up the whole couch (though she wouldn’t mind trying!). Caddie came to us after her beloved owner entered hospice care. While the transition was tough, she’s learning to open her heart again. She's a bit shy at first, but once she trusts you, she’ll seek out your attention and enjoy every moment by your side. She loves her walks and settles into a nice routine when she feels secure. She’s looking for a calm, quiet home where she can be the only pet and where adults will give her the time and space she needs to adjust. Once she knows she’s safe, Caddie’s loyalty and warmth shine through. If you believe in second chances and the quiet joy of a loyal companion, Caddie just might be the dog you’ve been waiting for.
