Meet Strawberry

Can we just take a second to talk about this glow up?! Strawberry came to us with skin so bad she smelt like straight iron and bled anytime she got excited. She even had swollen lymphnodes from her poor puppy body’s inflammatory response trying so hard to keep up. Through it all Berry never stopped wagging her tail, and lots of medication and baths later, this girly is all better and ready to find her forever family. Let me tell you, Strawberry lives up to her name, and is just the sweetest fruit she can be. Berry is timid initially, but her foster family has been helping her overcome all her fears, and she has gained a lot of confidence watching her doggy foster bro’s showing her what home life is all about. Berry loves to love, she has the softest, sweetest eyes, and she will wiggle waggle her whole body to greet you. Berry is estimated around 8 months old and is 40lbs. She is still working on all the puppy basics, but loves to play with other dogs and loves to fling toys around the house to entertain herself. Our adoption process is unique in that we work with you every step of the way to ensure that we’re placing the right dog with the right family. First, we like to have a phone chat to get a feel for the kind of dog that you’re looking for. Next, we have you fill out a foster application. After that, we come to your house with a carload of dogs for you to choose from and have you foster the dog of your choosing for a week to make sure that it’s a good fit. The last step is to finalize the adoption. And then congrats, you’re a new member of the Swamp Haven family and your happy tail has just begun! Our adoption fee is $300.
