ROSA -- INSTANT COMPANION ***WHAT A DOG!*** LOCATED IN VOLUSIA COUNTY, FL (Orange City) *** PLEASE SHARE THE POST Available for adoption or fostering -- Rosa's humans were no longer in a physical or financial position to care for her and agreed to let GRATEFUL PAWS step in and provide the vet care she needed to and find her a new home. She has been fully vetted (spayed/chipped/ vaccinated, etc.) and is doing GREAT in her temporary foster home, but she is ready for her own forever home now. She is a German Shepherd, about 4 years old and weighs about 55 lbs. She is a healthy, happy and spirited dog who loves to chase almost anything! Good old-fashioned sticks are her favorite, but she WILL dart after squirrels, birds or other critters. She is well behaved in the home and totally housebroken. She knows sit, stay, down and gives "PAW", both left and right! She is food motivated and is gentle with food and treats. She LOVES to ride in the car or the golf cart -- and gets very excited when she gets to go anywhere with her "humans". She would be a good single dog, what we call an INSTANT COMPANION! Rosa has a sweet temperament but still needs a little TLC to overcome her fear of new things. We have not had her around small children - and a home with no other pets would probably be best. Her true background is unknown, but she can be hesitant and shows signs of fear when meeting new people. Rosa needs a dog savvy, patient new owner who is able to work with her on becoming more socialized. She is going to make a wonderful companion for someone... Interested? Email for an application. [email protected] Adoption fee $250. And if you foster for us, we provide EVERYTHING YOU NEED - so it costs you NOTHING but your time and a little love. A AND share this post please... Thanks
Adoption Process
We are of the belief that there is a perfect home for every homeless pet. We just need the time to find it.
Most of the animals in our care have been rescued, so we ensure their new homes will be better than the last.
We ask every potential adoptee to complete an adoption application. The board reviews each application and the best home for the pet will be chosen. We arrange for a home visit; use a legal and binding adoption contract and charge an adoption fee that is applied towards the vet bill and care of the pet. In most cases the adoption fee does not cover our out -of-pocket costs so we rely upon the help of many to place the animal in its final home.
