Target (Bubba)

PA Pit Stop

“This is the first day of the rest of your life, and you will never have to worry again.”We want as many dogs as possible to hear those words. In 2017, the force of Hurricane Harvey showed us that we could – NEEDED – to do so much more to help so many sick, homeless, and abandoned dogs. We helped save 47 dogs just in that first mission. We have seen things that we cannot unsee. Our main focus is to help homeless, neglected or abused dogs find their way to a peaceful, loving home. The majority of our dogs come from the Deep South of Texas. This area is in complete crisis. You can look down any street and see 10 dogs, emaciated, dehydrated, tick and flea infested, injured, homeless, helpless, and innocent. Thousands of dogs just looking for a family. The local shelters are overrun, and dogs are just left to fend for themselves. We want more for them. We bring dogs back to Pennsylvania, show them lots of love, heal them, train them, and find them the best homes. So that’s how the name originated: the dogs would come to PA=Pennsylvania for a short time, a Pitstop along their journey to a forever home. PA Pitstop.
