Meet Snickers

Introducing the "Box of Chocolates" litter ... 6 adorable puppies in various shades of chocolate ... Cadbury/M, Dove/F, Ghiradelli/F, Hershey/F, Snickers/M and Twix/F.  These puppies were discovered abandoned on the side of the road in a cardboard box in the pouring rain at ~3-4 weeks old.  The shelter advised the finder to contact a small local rescue as they were full and unable to take them in.  The puppy foster for the rescue already had 10 bottles babies she was taking care of so called and was able to have them placed in a prison program where they have received lots of attention, including some basic training, and are very well socialized.  These puppies are already learning to walk on leash and starting basic commands like sit and stay.  They will need continued training and socialization to become the great adult dogs they are well on their way to becoming.  The puppies appear to be pittie mixes and will be ~9wo when they will be available to meet on September 13th; they currently weigh between 7-10lbs so are expected to be on the larger size when full grown.  If you would like to meet one of them, please fill out an application which can be found at http://www.bcaaofnj.org.
