Meet Leo

  Meet Leo!! Leo and his siblings have been homeless since they were babies. They have been in foster home all along and nobody seems to ever show interest in them. Fetching Hearts took Leo, Logan, Kelly and Kayla in and promised we would find them forever homes! Leo is a loving boy who enjoys to play with his friends. He loves being with his humans as well. Leo will make a great family member to a family who likes to have fun and are about being outside. Leo enjoys the sun, playing in the grass and running around in the fenced yard. Leo enjoys his toys and bones to chew on while you are relaxing. We always recommend training with young pups as this is the prime time to show them what they need to know. This will help them as they grow to be adults. Socializing, training classes and being with them attention wise is very important. This sweet boy cannot wait to find a forever family and be loved. He wants to be able to settle and start his life and have fun with his new family. Spay/Neuter All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease. VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward. HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment. Adoption Process
Application must be completed, and screened by our volunteers. Meet and greet scheduled prior to final adoption approval. Adoption contract executed and adoption fee made prior to dog being released to new owner.
