Meet Lenny
Lenny is a 3-year, 7-month-old Weimaraner with a stunning silver-grey coat. Weighing in at 46 pounds, Lenny is full-grown and a great medium sized pup. Lenny is shy around people, especially in new situations, but with other dogs around, his playful, joyful spirit comes to life! Having a canine buddy (or several!) nearby helps him feel more comfortable and secure. He absolutely loves other dogs and gains confidence from their companionship. He is house-trained and crate-trained when he has a furry friend next to him. When he is left alone without a canine friend he can get a bit nervous. His acceptance of a feline friend is unknown.Lenny prefers a peaceful environment and would do best in a home without young, energetic children. Older, quieter kids who can respect his space may be ok for him.Lenny may take some time to warm up to new humans, but with patience, love, and the right doggy company, he will make a loyal and gentle companion.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Lenny is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.
