Meet Huntress

If you are on the hunt for a new BFF, you may have just found your perfect match! Huntress is a 2.5-year-old hound mix with a beautiful brown and white coat and stunning amber eyes. At 35 lbs., she is considered a medium-sized (25-50 lbs.) pup.Huntress is a sweet and friendly pup! She was found abandoned in a home and was rescued by a partner shelter in South Carolina. Despite this rough start, Huntress is laid back, is not destructive, and is gentle and good with dogs and does very well with kids. Huntress has not yet had a chance to meet a cat, so we are not sure how she feels about them. She is a medium-energy pup, so she would equally enjoy exciting outdoor adventures and cozy couch snuggles. With time and determination, Huntress has met the gold bar status will her house skills. She is house, crate and leash trained. She is a wonderful gal who will settle nicely in her crate and remains content for the night. Leash walking is a fun time for her, and she does wonderfully with passing by other dogs and people while on walks. It is important to remember that although, Huntress is house trained, potty accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. The perfect family for Huntress will welcome her with open arms and will commit the time required to ensure she gets proper training, lots of socialization, plenty of play and exercise, and all of the love!Huntress is on the hunt for the perfect family.
