Meet Kai
Get ready for some fun and excitement because everyone will be a part of the action when our boy Kai and his brother Chance come to town. These 7-month-old Labrador Retriever mixes are winning hearts everywhere they go. They know that good things come to those who wait, and they are patiently waiting for the happy ending to their journey in a loving home with loving family. Kai is a growing boy and is currently around 35 pounds. We think most of his growing is behind him, but he is sure to get a bigger in the coming months. It is estimated that he will remain a medium size dog of under 60 pounds when fully grown. Bringing down the house with his cheerful and adventurous nature, Kai is a boy that enjoys company and playmates equally. He is a friendly boy and can easily hang out with other dogs, children or both. He has not had the opportunity to be introduced to cats since coming into rescue. There is no limit to the love that our boy Kai offers. With a beaming personality, Kai will be a wonderful addition to family outings, walks in the neighborhood, snoozing on the bed or just hanging out. Kai will thrive in a family that will provide lots of playtime with fun and games. He will need continued training, regular exercise and of course lots of socialization. With a continuing effort and lots of hard work, Kai looks forward to mastering his house, crate and leash training. It is daily training but with commitment, he will put in his best effort and make his family proud of him. When in the family of his dreams, Kai will be able to lay down his head and find peace and tranquility. He has heard all the stories and now wishes for the reality of that dream. Give him a chance to convince you that he will be your next canine family member.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Kai is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
