Attention big, playful dog lovers: meet Samson the sweetheart! Samson is a 4-year-old lab mix with a handsome tan coat and a big, goofy smile. Fully grown at 64 lbs., he is considered a large pup.Samson is a big, handsome boy! Samson was surrendered to our partner shelter in Louisiana by his owners because they were battling severe health issues. Although a little shy at first, it didn’t take Samson long to warm up to everyone and show off his excited, clumsy running! Despite the challenges he has faced, Samson is loving, affectionate, playful, and strong. Samson loves attention from his human friends, including kids! Samson gets along with other dogs and loves running in the yard. He also enjoys basking in the sun! He has not been introduced to cats, so we do not know how he feels about them.Samson is working hard on his crate, house, and leash training. He is doing well on leash training so far and loves to go for walks. But Samson is still learning, and will need to continue in his future home. Samson would love to join a family who will commit the time required to provide him with proper training and plenty of socialization. He will appreciate your care, patience, and love as he adjusts to life with his new family!Samson is friendly to all dogs and people, and who wouldn’t want to be friends with him after seeing his winning smile?! This big boy is a love and looks forward to having a home and family to love and be loved by. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability.The adoption fee for Samson is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue, and transport fees. Adoption Process
Potential adopters must complete a comprehensive application, interview and home inspection. The final step in the process is explaination and completion of adoption contract. The adoption fee is $450 inclusive of all vetting and transportation charges.
