Meet Missy
Meet marvelous Missy! This beauty is a 2-year-old terrier mix. She is fully grown at a petite 38 pounds. If you are looking for a big personality in a small package, Missy may be your girl!Missy has a medium energy level. She enjoys playing outside with human and canine friends alike but is also happy to spend some time cuddling on the couch with her people. She is a wonderful mix of playmate and snuggle buddy. Missy gets along well with other dogs and children. She has lived in a home with other dogs and would love to have a canine or human sibling (although it is not a requirement). She truly loves people and is eager to soak up all the love she can. She has not had an opportunity to live with a cat. Missy is working on house, crate and leash training. She responds wonderfully to praise and positive reinforcement, so she is sure to learn these important skills with the patience and consistency of her new family. If Missy sounds like your new best friend, read below!* Please keep in mind when considering adoption, dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust significantly better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Missy is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours.
