She absolutely adores giving hugs and kisses—if you sit down, she’ll happily climb into your lap, gently place her paws on your shoulders, and shower you with kisses on your face, neck, and ears. She thinks she’s a lapdog, and we’re not about to correct her.She loves her people and will wag her tail excitedly even when she hears unfamiliar voices—just in case it’s someone new to love! Dog-Friendly & Delightfully PlayfulBernice is wonderfully social and gets along great with other dogs. She's playful, friendly, and very respectful—she reads cues well and often rolls onto her back to show she’s all love. Watching her romp around with canine companions is pure joy!She’s even met the resident cat in her foster home and was curious but respectful, making her a great candidate for a multi-pet household. Snuggles, Naps & Sweet DreamsAfter a good puppy nap, Bernice will roll onto her back, wag her tail sleepily, and ask for belly rubs—it’s her favorite way to wake up! She sleeps soundly in her crate overnight and is doing great with potty training. Smart Cookie in the MakingBernice is very food-motivated and already knows how to sit! She’s eager to learn and easily redirected if she gets curious about something she shouldn't (like a shoe). She sometimes nibbles on hands, but her mouth is soft, and she’s quick to switch to a toy when gently guided.
