To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see HERE Age: 3 months (as of 04/18/24) Weight: ~ 10 lbs (as of 04/14/24) Location: RI This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Introducing Tara, a 3-month-old Schnauzer mix puppy on the lookout for her forever family! With her endearing face and loving demeanor, Tara is the perfect companion for those who crave canine cuddles. Whether it's lounging on lazy afternoons or exploring the great outdoors, Tara is happiest when she's with her people although she happily plays with other dogs or alone with her toys. Her intelligence and eagerness to please make her a joy to train, while her affectionate nature ensures endless snuggles and kisses. Being just a pup she will have so much to learn! She'll need house training, crate training and will need to learn to walk on a leash. We strongly recommend that all our dogs attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, and it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog. If you're searching for a furry friend who will shower you with affection and wiggle her way right into your heart, look no further than Tara. An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website: www.sosarl.org/aa/ **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
