Meet Stephen
Meet Stephen, an 8-month-old Plott Hound mix with a beautiful brindle coat and a heart just as lovely. Stephen currently weighs about 39 pounds and it is estimated he will be a medium sized dog (31-60 pounds) when he is fully grown, a great size for someone looking for a companion with both charm and energy.Stephen is a total sweetheart—gentle, affectionate, and eager to please. He absolutely loves his daily strolls. Whether it’s a neighborhood walk or a nature trail, Stephen is always ready to explore the world by your side. He gets along well with other dogs, is friendly with kids, and even may do ok with cats—making him a versatile addition to many homes.Stephen is still young and working on all his training, so he’ll benefit from continued guidance and positive reinforcement as he grows, but he’s already showing what a well-mannered, loving dog he can be. If you're looking for a loyal walking buddy who also gives great cuddles, Stephen might just be your perfect match.* Please keep in mind when considering adoption, dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust significantly better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Bandit is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.
