Meet Missy Magnolia

To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application    HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see    HERE Age: ~ 8 months (as of 03/11/23) Weight: 15 lbs (as of 02/11/23)    This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Missy Magnolia wants to please! Missy is such a small faintly girl under 20lbs. She appears to be a mini-Aussie or small Sheltie type mix. She is a light girl with lots of wiggles and cuddles for play. She is currently in a foster with small dogs and one a bit larger than her...she has been with cats and just a little darling. She is "basically" house-trained and is crate trained. She loves snuggling on the sofa for movie night and sleeps in bed with her foster human brother at night. Missy is a beautiful gem of a girl. Meet Little Missy Magnolia... Missy and her brother Bax (also available on SOS) are friendly with everyone they meet, including kids, but they currently don’t live with children. They are playful with other dogs and seem ok with cats that they like to chase in a playful way. They love toys and are happy to chill with a ball when not playing with you! The pups are pretty quiet but you might hear them bark with playing. Missy and Box needs adopters who are committed to keeping their world small until they start to settle in. The adopter should plan to limit visitors to the home, leave the dog at home (crated – not loose!) rather than taking her to parties, soccer games, dog parks, etc, and focus on building a bond through structure and moderate obedience training. A fenced yard would be ideal so they could run and play safely, but if that's not available they'll need lots of leash walks and opportunities for off-leash play in a fenced area. Missy would love to find a forever family that has lots of time and patience to raise a puppy properly, and who has lots of extra time for loving and cuddles. If you are looking for an older puppy, Missy, or Bax, may be perfect for you! Fill out an application today and let her know that you'd love to have her join your family! An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see    HERE    for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website:  www.sosarl.org/aa/ **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
