Meet Arya

Are you looking for a goofy, playful, and zesty new bestie? Arya is a 2.5-year-old little Doberman-mix girl built for speed.    Arya is ready to find her new forever home after suddenly having to leave her loving family due to circumstances outside of anyone's control (*cough cough breed restrictions cough*).    Arya is fully potty and kennel trained and loves sleeping on soft blankets and cushions in her crate. She knows basic commands and is pretty good on leash, although she can get a little too excited sometimes.    She is a very high-energy dog, highly food motivated, and LOVES playing tug, fetch, and chew toys all of which need to be very chew-resistant as she is a heavy chewer. She will need an active home willing to keep her engaged through ongoing training, adventures, and other activities. Despite all that activity, she has never chewed or destroyed anything she wasn't supposed to - unless you count the one time she snuck a stick of butter off the counter.    Arya also loves all dogs and would love nothing more than to have an active dog sibling. While she grew up with a toddler, her playful nature can be overwhelming for small children and fearful smaller animals.    Arya can get a little skittish with strangers but is won over with treats and calm and gentle behavior. She has made friends with everyone she has met so far. Once you are her friend, she loves nothing more than a belly rub, couch cuddles, and gentle kisses.    Ready to meet this sassy girl and become best friends?

Adoption Process
Home visits, fees vary, adoption contract required. Adopter agrees to return animal to the rescue if they are unable to care for them.
