Meet Jacoby

Jacoby is the sweetest mild tempered little rescue ever.  He is about 2-3 years old and maybe 15 lbs.  He wants nothing more than to cuddle with his person.   He is so gentle and wants only to please you.  He is very passive, probably from how he was treated in his previous life, and will roll over and accept belly rubs at all times.  Because he is timid he needs a family that understands and will be patient with him.   In many years of doing rescue, he is one of the lowest maintenance dogs ever - he doesn't even care about the door or doorbell - a big bonus in my book !  He will sometimes "talk" to you when its dinner time, but so cute and quiet at all other times.  He gets along with other dogs but seems to prefer his human and is still learning about toys.   He needs some work walking on a leash as I haven't been about to take him out much (my fault, not his).  The outside scares him a bit so he just need a slow introduction. He is house broken, crate trained, loves to hang out in his dog bed and just the cutest snaggletooth ever.

Adoption Process
Dogs and Cats Listed are in foster homes and available for adoption. A person must complete an adoption application, the application is then screened and vet references called. The applicant is then called for an interview. If approved the application is then sent to the foster to set up a meet and greet. If that goes well a home visit is set up for final approval. If approved the adopter must fill out an adoption contract and pay an adoption fee. All animals are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped prior to any adoption.
