Ivey is a 1.5 y/o, 8 lb long-haired Chihuahua mix with one mission: to give you all the kisses all the time! She’s a super affectionate little girl who loves being wherever you are. She’s potty trained and crate trained (though she's not the biggest fan of the crate and might protest a little at first), and she can be left to roam freely when her foster mom is out. At nighttime she sleeps in the big bed - all through the night! She’s very food and treat motivated. She gets super excited for little walks outside on her leash and will paw the door when she needs to go out. She’s been friendly to the neighborhood dogs and gives a little “woof” when she sees them coming. She does not like bunnies or squirrels though! Ivey will need someone who is home a lot, since she likes being close to her human. She isn’t a big barker so an apartment may be suitable and due to her size, she should not be left unattended outside. A very secure fence is a must. She would do well with other dogs as companions and is fine around cats. She has not been tested with children but her demeanor is very sweet - they will need to be respectful and gentle with her so kids 10+ will be considered. If you are interested in meeting Ivey, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Ivey is spayed, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. Her adoption fee is $400 and we are not doing any out of state adoptions.
