Meet Clovis / Minnie
General Notes | Get ready for a "Minnie" explosion of cuteness! Minnie, a petite black lab mix puppy, is all sweetness and wiggles, ready to bring her tiny paws and enormous heart to her forever Colorado home for endless playtime and snuggle sessions. Good with kids, good with dogs, and a total snuggle bug, she's the whole package! Want to adopt this dog? Please do not email us. Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP. Personality | Minnie is sweet as pie! She's great with small kiddos, grown kiddos, and all dogs! She has met kitties and is great there too. She is timid at first, but opens up quickly, and can't wait to snuggle and hang. She's happy to play, happy to rest - truly, she is just happy! Story | Minnie was found in the back of a trailer by a good citizen in Dallas, TX. The individual rescued her and took her home, getting her fully vetted, socializing her, and teaching her that the world isn't all bad! While this little lady has had a rough start, she continues to adapt well and has shown her foster family just how much love she has to give. Other Dogs | Minnie is GREAT with other dogs! She loves to play, and will happily bound around, but also follows their cues well. She is respectful, happy to hang out and relax, and happy to jump into puppy play mode as other dogs around her allow. Cats | Minnie has met one kitty and did extremely well! As with all dog and cat intros, as long as they are done slow and properly, she would do well with a kitty sibling. Children | Minnie LOVES little people! She's still learning, but would do well with kiddos to dote on and adore of her own! Training | In progress! Leash | In progress! Activity Level | ModerateHealth Notes | Thank you! | Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $475 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $425 for 1-6 years, $375 for dogs 7-10 years, and $250 for 11+ years of age. Purebred dogs regardless of age are $525. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, and supplies while in foster care that currently average over $700 per dog).Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet & greets by appointment to approved applicants only. To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process. Please know | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption. We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page!We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved. Your application is good for one year from the date of applying for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle.
