200Meet Bohdi – A Loyal Companion Looking for a Loving Home Bohdi is a sweet and gentle 10-year-old pup with a heart full of love. He’s a 14-pound mix—possibly Chihuahua, Poodle, or Pomeranian—with a beautiful red coat and a calm, loving nature. Bohdi has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure and a grade 4 heart murmur, which is well managed with daily medication. One of his medications is a diuretic, so he needs to be taken outside frequently, but he is fully potty trained and very good about doing his business when given the chance. His previous owner could no longer care for him, and now Bohdi is looking for a quiet, stable home where he can be someone's devoted companion. He’s affectionate, loves to cuddle, and enjoys going for walks and car rides. Bohdi gets along with other dogs, although he prefers to keep to himself rather than play. He hasn’t been tested with cats, but we suspect he would do just fine. He would thrive in a calm environment with someone who can give him plenty of one-on-one attention. A backyard would be a bonus but isn’t necessary. Though Bohdi has a scar on his left eye from a cat scratch long ago, it doesn’t affect him—he sees well with his right eye. Due to his heart condition, he can’t undergo dental procedures, but his remaining teeth have been scaled and cleaned. He doesn’t have many teeth left, so he eats soft food without any trouble. Bohdi is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vaccinations. He’s used to traveling and would love to continue being your sidekick on little adventures. We are seeking a kind and committed adopter who will continue his heart medications and provide a loving, peaceful home.
