Meet Una

Courtesy Post – Rehoming Needed This dog is not at the shelter. Meet Una – a sweet and loyal 3-year-old female mixed breed (multi-colored). ✔️ Spayed/Neutered: No ✔️ Vaccines: Not current ✔️ Potty trained: Yes ✔️ Crate trained: No Una was rescued as a stray puppy and has been with her family ever since. She is friendly with children and has also lived with other dogs. She is primarily an indoor dog who enjoys companionship and being close to her people. Her owner describes her as affectionate and well-mannered with visitors. Una may bark at other dogs but is not reactive beyond that. She does show signs of attachment and becomes upset if left outside alone, so she will do best in a home where she can be included as part of the family. Due to the demands of caring for young children, her current family is no longer able to provide Una with the attention she needs. She is ready for a new home where she can thrive with love, patience, and companionship. If you are interested in adopting Una, please contact her owner, Vania, directly: Phone: (916) 582-2054 Email: [email protected]

Adoption Process
Adopters fill out a 2-page questionnaire, interview with a staff person, and pay the adoption fee. We are in the process of transitioning to "open adoptions" with few formalized requirements. The full adoption fees are approximately $160 for dogs and $110 for cats, but we have regular 'specials'.
