Meet Cruise

Adoption Fee: $700   Cruise is a 4 month old Shiba Inu mix who is ready to sail his way into your heart! Cruise was rescued from the Korean meat markets by our amazing rescue partner alongside his brother, Tom. After a trans-Pacific flight, Cruise touched down in America and has never looked back. Cruise is the perfect fluffy puppy who can’t wait to make his mark on the world with all the adventures in store for him. He will be about 35-40 pounds when he is fully grown.    Cruise is a gentle and curious fluff ball who loves giving kisses and cuddles. He adores being close to his people and will faithfully follow you around forever once you win his heart. Like any good Shiba, Cruise is super smart and will keep you on your toes as you explore the world. He would love a home ready to take him on adventures, but he can also hang with the best of them. Hikes? Sign him up. Beach trip? He’ll get the sunscreen. Camping? He’s packing the tent. Movie night? Cruise will get the candy salad! Cruise is such a lover boy with a fabulous curly tail to boot. This boy has clearly made the most of his second chance at life and we promised him smooth sailing going forward. His forever home will be the luckiest home on the planet.  Cruise starts his day at 7 AM with a trip outside for the bathroom. After some morning sniffs, he heads back inside for cuddles and breakfast. He spends his mornings alternating between playing with the resident dog, lounging with his brother, and napping in the sunshine. In the afternoon, Cruise gets a walk around the block followed by more playtime in the backyard and more naps. In the evening, he zooms around with his toys, encouraging the household to romp around with him. Dinner is at 7 PM followed by evening playtime and then cuddles on the couch with the TV on. After one last potty trip outside, Cruise heads into his crate for a dream filled sleep. Cruise gets along with dogs of all ages and sizes. He would love a playmate in his forever home, but could also thrive as a solo dog. This smart boy figured out the dog door in less than 24 hours, so puppy school will be an absolute blast for him. Cruise truly will brighten any home lucky enough to adopt him, so don’t delay in adding him to your life!    Cruise is only an option for those who have owned a dog in the last 5 years. Interested homes must have a plan for continued training. Kids in the home should be over the age of 7.

Adoption Process
We require an application from anyone who is interested in adopting. Then we require a phone interview, followed by a meeting in person. Then if the animal is a match, we have a contract and our adoption fee which is $400.
