Meet Billy Bob

Billy Bob – Yellow Male blend, 9 months, 70 lbs. Howdy everyone, Billy Bob here! I’m just a good old country puppy looking for my forever home.  Could you be my people? Billy Bob came to LRRF from a Tulare shelter.  We think he was an outside pup only but he is learning to be an inside puppy now! He likes nothing better than to be right next to the people he loves.  Billy Bob loves playing with the other dogs in his foster home, big and small and he adores being close to his people and having his fuzzy belly rubbed.  Billy Bob also loves chew toys and balls and he would really like to play with kids (and adults) who could teach him to play fetch.  His foster home includes one grumpy old man cat, he is respectful of him.   Billy Bob is fairly far along with leash training and is an enthusiastic walker.  Every walk is a new adventure, he does like to stop walks for the occasional roll in the grass. Biting the leash seems like a fun game to him, but he is learning that that’s a no-no!    He does not like to go in the crate, but once he is in, he is quiet and calm.  He sleeps in the crate at night, and sleeps quietly all night.  Billy Bob is a true country gentleman; he has never had an accident in the house and does his business discreetly outside.   Remember, puppies are part of the family and can be more than a decade commitment.  They will need a family committed to training, regular exercise and plenty of love to be the perfect family pet.  If you are interested in adopting Billy Bob, please fill out an application at: www.labrescuefresno.org   If you are interested in adopting through Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno, you must first fill out an Adoption Application located at our website www.LabRescueFresno.org All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines including rabies; flea/tick topical drops, heartworm tested and microchipped.
