Meet Jewel, the black and white pittie girl! Her favorite things to do are run around and play fetch with the kids. She has history living with children ages 3 to 10 years old in her previous home. Jewel has not lived with dogs in her previous home but had some doggy friends she would play with. She loves riding in the car and is looking to be someoneâs passenger princess. Could that be you? This dogâs adoption fee is reduced to $70 from May 1st to May 15th as part of âEmpty the Sheltersâ, an adoption event hosted by the Bissell Pet Foundation to help pets across the nation find the loving adoptive homes they deserve. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
