Meet Gambino Gangster – The Little Outlaw with a Big Heart! Fostered in Vacaville, CA 2 years old | 16 lbs | Neutered Male | Chihuahua Mix Don’t let the tough-guy name fool you—Gambino Gangster is more lover than fighter. This 16-pound nugget of cuteness came to us scared and unsure, but he's quickly traded his life of hiding for one filled with zoomies, snuggles, and snack heists. Gambino is the kind of dog who will look at a toy twice his size and think, “Yeah, I got this.” He’s determined to keep up with the big dogs and absolutely loves to play, chase toys, and show off his surprisingly brave little heart. He's also got a serious case of the munchies—this guy is very food motivated. While we're working on his table manners (read: he's an enthusiastic beggar), his willingness to learn and love of treats make training a breeze. Now, if you’re the kind of person who likes a little breathing room on the couch... this might not be your guy. Gambino is clingy in the cutest way. He’s a lap dog through and through, with zero regard for personal space and 100% commitment to being your shadow. Want a buddy for your walks, your work-from-home days, or your movie marathons? He’s already packed (okay, he's wearing a hoodie and sitting by the door). Loud noises still spook him, and he gets a little shy when he feels unsafe, but every day he grows more confident, curious, and affectionate. He’s making fast progress with potty training, adjusting beautifully to home life, and showing us that behind those nervous eyes is a whole lot of heart. Gambino Gangster is ready to ditch the gang life and settle into his forever home—preferably one with a lap to call his own, plenty of snacks, and maybe a doggy sibling or two to play with. Apply to meet this little lovebug today! Also, ask us about our seniors for seniors program, where we adopt animals 5 years or older to qualified homes with a $5 donation as an adoption fee. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for parasites and given any additional treatments (dental work, bloodwork etc) as recommended by our vet. Adoptions to veterans of the US Armed Services are ALWAYS free to thank you for your service. We thank Well Pet Vet Clinic for providing most of our veterinary services and give a special thanks to volunteer photographers Tanya, Barbara, Kristy, Christine, Teressa and Natalie.
