Redd is an appeasing guy..He was surviving on his own in the fields of Watsonville before being brought to the shelter. He has been very worried but staff has given him plenty of encouragement to blossom with much needed TLC. Staff has obsrved him being affectionate and trusting.. if only dogs could talk so we knew his story!!He is wanting to connect with someone so he can be a loyal companion- happy and carefree at last.Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
